Single Mother Feminist Psycho, Melissa Amy Leese, Jailed For 4 Years For Stabbing Her Ex-Boyfriend In The Neck As He Was Kissing Their Newborn Son

A single mother feminist psych stabbed her ex-boyfriend in the neck as he bent down to kiss their baby son has been sentenced to almost four years jail. The scumbag mainstream media tried to defend / excuse the evil woman by labelling her attempted murder as ‘who was suffering from undiagnosed post-natal depression.’

Melissa Amy Leese, 28, armed herself with a kitchen knife at her Mandurah home before luring the 27-year-old man into a bedroom by suggesting he say goodbye to the infant before he left for work.

As he stood up, she attacked him from behind with the 10-centimetre knife and stabbed him twice in the base of the neck.

She stabbed him a third time in the left shoulder before a brief struggle ensued and he managed to restrain her.

Leese then said to the man: “It’s either you or me … you want to kill me?”

The victim, who suffered two puncture wounds which required stitches, was taken to hospital by relatives while Leese, who had left the house, handed herself into police later in the day.

State prosecutor Ben Stanwix told the Supreme Court of Western Australia that in interviews with detectives, Leese falsely claimed she had acted in self-defence because her partner had been aggressive towards her.

She later told a psychologist she could not recall the specific detail of what she had done.

Post-natal depression not diagnosed

Leese was originally facing an attempted murder charge but she ended up pleading guilty to the downgraded charge of doing an act, with intent to harm, that resulted in a person’s life, health or safety being endangered.

The prosecution argued an immediate jail term was necessary, with Mr Stanwix describing the case as “bizarre” and highlighting that Leese’s intention was to cause her partner a life-endangering injury.

The judge said while those issues had a “causal connection” to her offending, they only reduced her culpability by a small amount, and she was aware at all times that what she was doing was wrong.

Justice Derrick also noted that the domestic violence in the relationship was mutual and that both Leese and the man had abused alcohol and illicit drugs.

He described the attack “a gratuitous act of significant violence”, saying there was “a degree of premeditation involved”.

He said Leese had “orchestrated” her partner to be in “a position of vulnerability to make it easier for her to stab him”.

He said while the victim’s injuries were not significant, the stabbing could have had more serious consequences.

Justice Derrick also said he was not persuaded that Leese had fully accepted responsibility for her actions, nor that she was remorseful as she could be.

He said a suspended jail term would not be appropriate and sentenced Leese to an immediate jail term of three years and 10 months.

She will have to serve half of the sentence before she can be released on parole.

The man did not provide a victim impact statement to the court, which was told he had expressly requested that there not be a lifetime violence restraining order made against Leese, which usually happens in such cases.
