Devastated Dad Erik Denton Was In A Custody Battle With His Ex For His 3 Kids But The Authorities Wouldn’t Help Him, The Evil Mother Liliana Carrillo Murdered All The Children

The distraught and devastated father of three young siblings stabbed to death by their mother is “extremely angry” at child protective services and may take legal action.

Evil mother Liliana Carrillo, 30, was arrested in Tulare County, California – around four hours north of where her three children, Joanna, Terry and Sierra, were found dead in Reseda.

The children’s heartbroken grandmother had called cops after she discovered the youngsters – age three, two, and six months – dead inside an apartment complex, with Carrillo nowhere to be seen.

Grieving father Erik Denton told the Los Angeles Times he had sought custody of the children from his ex on March 1 2021, whom he said had been acting mentally unstable, but says officials didn’t act fast enough.

A family friend stated: “He is extremely angry, I would be too, he reached out multiple times to them [children protective services] and said, ‘It needs to be done, the kids need to be taken from her’.

“I know friends and family have advised him to take legal action, but I think it’s too soon for him to really even try to think about doing anything.

“I’ve spoken to him and he is just in total shock. He had just seen his baby on Skype and it has been really, really hard.

“He’s just trying to process things, he feels very lost right now and everyone is worried about him, it’s scary.”

He reportedly petitioned for a mental health evaluation of Carrillo, and requested a temporary emergency visitation order in Porterville on March 4 with orders drawn up at a hearing days later.

He said Carrillo was supposed to turn over the kids to him on Sunday, and another hearing in the case was scheduled for April 14 2021.

Carrillo responded by filing for a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Erik on March 12 in Los Angeles Superior Court, records show.

Erik stated he tried to get local authorities to intervene, but “in LA they wouldn’t help. The LAPD would not get involved.”

Erik flew from Washington, where he now resides, to California and attended a memorial for his murdered children, during which he read out a touching poem.

“I just can’t understand how she was able to do what she did, I know she loves her babies,” the female friend said.

“To be able to do that she had to have disassociated herself because no one in their right might would commit such a heinous act.

“I hope she gets the death penalty, or life with no parole, and that she dies in prison.”

She said the fact the grandmother found the babies dead is “horrifying,” and it’s something she’ll “never forget.”

“She didn’t just slay one child, she went on to slay two more, thinking about doing that to children is very sickening,” the friend said.

She added: “Erik was a fantastic father. They were constantly doing something, going places.

“They were always out together and he tried to give his kids the best childhood that they could have had.

“I’m just in disbelief, I feel shock, anger, sadness, confusion. I tried putting myself in her place, but there’s no way I could ever do what she’s done, it’s unfathomable.”

Investigators were unable to locate Carrillo for several hours after the babies was discovered and a man hunt was launched – with her fleeing the scene.

She also ditched her vehicle before carjacking another in the hours before her arrest.

Police have not yet formally identified Carrillo’s children, though their names were shared by their grandfather, Tim Denton, in a Facebook post.

“This is my son,” he wrote, linking to a GoFundMe page set up for him. “Yesterday though an unspeakable heinous act, his children are gone.

“Please keep him in your prayers and hold your family close tonight. I love you Erik. Rest in peace darlings; Joanna, Terry and Sierra.”

It has also since emerged Carrillo ran a feminist blog on Instagram in which she would write and share inspirational messages and confessions about herself.
