False Accuser Empowered Woman, Caitlyn Sturgis, Arrested After She Admitted To Police That She Made Up Lies About Being Sexually Assaulted By An Innocent Man In Order To Seek Attention
Mount Pleasant police stated a woman filed a police report and told investigators about a sexual assault which turned out to be false. False accuser empowered woman Caitlyn Sturgis was charged with filing a false police report.
Sturgis reported to the Mount Pleasant police department that she had been the victim of an assault by one subject and the victim of a sexual assault from another subject, according to an incident report.
Sturgis falsely told investigators she wanted to pursue charges against a female guest in her apartment for pouring alcohol down her throat, the report stated. She also falsely told officers that a male guest in her apartment held her down and sexually assaulted her. Police say she provided multiple versions of the sexual assault during the initial interview.
Detectives spoke with Sturgis again one week later. Sturgis told them, “he hurt me” and “it was the exact same thing as when I was raped before.” Then she admitted she couldn’t remember any sexual assault or any other assault that happened despite reporting both incidents in detail, according to the affidavit.
The affidavit stated that Sturgis told detectives, “I know I have a problem with attention…that’s why I’m so cloudy about this and what happened.” Thanks again feminism!
